Grass Fed Chuck Eye Steak is a less costly alternative to Rib Eye Steak. This steak is also known as the "Poor Man's Ribeye," because it Great on the grill as long as it’s not overcooked. Also good braised to keep it moist.
Chuckeye Steak is cut from the moderately tough chuck roll subprimal, but it contains a few inches of the very tender longissimus dorsi muscle, which is the same muscle that ribeye steaks are made from.
We think that the Chuckeye Steak is just as about as good as Ribeye! In fact, we haven't met a Chuckeye that we didn't like.
In fact, Chuckeye qualifies as one of the Secret Steaks, because most people do not know about it and so it is little appreciated.
