What's Included With a Whole Beef or Pork Purchase

I know that there are a lot of questions related to making a big purchase such as meat in bulk. I'm going to try and answer them all, but if I miss any, please feel free to respond to this email and ask me directly! There's a good chance that if you want to know, then someone else also wants to know too!


Today I've got the specifics regarding what cuts you get when making a bulk meat purchase.


*Please keep in mind that these sizes go with the Angus beef! Our Devons are a smaller breed, so these quantities do not apply!*


1/8 Beef you can expect to get about 55-68 lbs of meat including:

๐Ÿ”ธ STEAKS: Top notch steaks including Approximately 3-5 NY Strips, 2-3 Ribeyes, 2 Filet Mignons, 2 Sirloin Tips, 2-4 Cube Steaks, 2 Sirloins

๐Ÿ”ธ Ground beef Approximately 22-27 lbs 

๐Ÿ”ธ SAVORY CUTS: Approximately 3-4 Roasts; 2-3 packages of stew meat in convenient 1lb packages; 2-4 Cross Cut Shanks individually packaged; and one of the following 'special cuts': Brisket, Back Ribs, OR Short Ribs.

๐Ÿ”ธ Bonus: if you'd like bones or organs added in for free, just let us know. We can't promise we will have all the organs you want, but we will do our best to accommodate you.


1/4 Beef: you can expect about 100-125 lbs of meat

๐Ÿ”ธ SteaksApproximately 6-8 NY Strips, 4-6 Ribeyes, 4 Filet Mignons, 4 Sirloins, 4-6 Cube Steaks

๐Ÿ”ธ Ground beef : Approximately 44-50 lbs

๐Ÿ”ธ Savory Cuts: Perfect for the family or party time! Includes approximately 6-8 Roasts; 4-6 Packages of Stew Meat in convenient 1lb packages; 4-6 Packages of Stir Fry Meat in convenient 1lb packages; 4-8 Cross Cut Shanks individually packaged; and 1-2 of the following 'special cuts: Brisket, Back Ribs, OR Short Ribs.
